Adjuster

The Adjuster position ensures that the Gibson Brands Operations Center delivers a quality product by safely handling all inventories, maintaining warehouse equipment, and completing all duties assigned. This role also plays a supporting function in inspecting and setting up guitars to Epiphone specifications.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

The Adjuster position ensures that the Gibson Brands Operations Center delivers a quality product by safely handling all inventories, maintaining warehouse equipment, and completing all duties assigned. This role also plays a supporting function in inspecting and setting up guitars to Epiphone specifications.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Packaging orders products for orders – Understand and utilize the latest processes, techniques and adhere to Vendor/Customer Requirements (includes UPS/Parcel, Freight and Int’l orders)
  • Unloading/Loading trucks – product containers, supply trucks, parcel and misc. (40-70lbs) lifting ability
  • Palletize and sort items by Product ID/Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)
  • Standing for long periods of time – (8-10 hours)
  • Operating a Forklift and pallet jacks – training provided
  • Maintaining and cleaning designated work area
  • Inspect and Set-Up 50 “sellable units” per day according to a 15 point checklist
  • Assist in any area of the Gibson Brands Operations Center that requires assistance

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Warehouse/Order Picking/Packaging Experience
  • 3-5 Years Guitar Playing Experience
  • Basic Guitar Maintenance Knowledge - Changing Strings, String Height Adjustments, Ability to evaluate acceptable instrument playability and structural soundness, etc.

  • Strong teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to comprehend work instructions, inspection processes and utilize that knowledge to properly inspect product and record findings
